Are you passionate about helping children learn and grow? Do you want to make a positive impact on their lives and their future? Then consider a career in early learning!
For Hilo High, Waiakea High, Kau High, Keaau High, Pahoa High, Honokaa High and Ke Kula ʻo Nāwahīokalaniʻōpuʻu Lab Public Charter School students there are two options. First option, is Early College where a student can earn 9 credits toward a Certificate of Competence from Hawaii Community College’s Early Childhood Education program while working toward high school graduation. The second option, is the Professional and Career Education for Early Childhood (PACE) workshops. PACE is a non-credit program with no placement requirements and upon completion of the PACE workshop it may be converted to college credit with instructors approval.
For those in the Early Childhood workforce who may need to expand their credentials, we are also offering the Professional and Career Education for Early Childhood (PACE) workshops.
